Out-patient Clinic Referral
Josie is a 5-year-old girl referred to clinic of pubic hair development.
She is an otherwise well girl with no past medical history of note. She has nnot started menstruating.
Neither parent is especially tall, her mother is 5'4" and father is around 5'9".
On examination she is 18kg and 114cm tall. There is no evidence of breast development and her examination is otherwise entirely normal.
What would do you think about her present height?
