Now that you have worked through an overview of Diabetes, here are a pair of cases based on real patients to help you test your knowledge.
You will be asked to use the Southampton General Hospital Diabetes Guidelines and the latest guidelines from the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (BSPED) to make decisions regarding the management of these patients.
Guidelines may change from hospital to hospital and it is important that you familiarise yourself with what guidelines are available and where they are kept.
If there isn't a guideline maybe you could write one, the BSPED website is a good place to start.
