Imagine that you are in an outpatient ‘First Seizure’ clinic and have 3 patients to see.
They have all been referred by the Emergency Department or their GP following a funny turn or possible seizure episode.
In preparation for starting clinic it is useful to think of potential causes for these types of presentations so that you can consider questions you need to ask in the history and pertinent points on examination and investigation.
Record your thoughts in the box below; it may be helpful to group them into categories or systems using a surgical sieve.
