Ongoing Management

Daisy was admitted to the ward and observed overnight after her antibiotics have been started


She is seen on the ward round the next morning and re-examined:

  • Tracheal tug, mild sub-costal recessions and cough
  • Transmitted sounds throughout the chest and bibasal crepitations on auscultation
