Kyle is a 2 year old boy with a three week history of coryza illness and intermittent fever. Last week he was complaining of pain in his left wrist without any known injury. His mother took him to the emergency department who performed an Xray and discharged him home given there was no bony injury.
Three days ago, Kyle then refused to weight bear because of pain in his left ankle. His mother says he has not fallen over that she knows of.
He is previously fit and well, he has not travelled anywhere recently and doesn’t normally take any medicines.
